Who are we…?

I live on the island of Corsica year around and I simply love walking.

I fell in love with the idea of Corsica, nearly 30 years ago, when French friends from Nice told me tales of their holidays on this paradise island, so close to home. I dreamt of a holiday in Corsica but being a student, budget trips were in order to other Mediterranean islands. Two decades ago, fate saw me coming to the island for the first time. I worked in Tourism, at that time for a family run UK Tour Operator that specialised in holidays to this little known “French” island, and that first trip was certainly something else.

Another twist of fate, a move to France, and a subsequent move to Corsica found me working for a walking specialist on the island. A dream come true.

Théo, Alex and Hugo my three fit teenagers complete the younger part of my team. Following me on my walks, they sometimes moan – we won’t mention Senetosa – but I tell them that such great adventures are character building, “just ask Grandad”.
