Sentier des Douaniers, Maccinaggio
Follow the Customs officers path or ‘chemin des douaniers’ around the remote Cap Corse, along which you pass naturally preserved beaches and abandoned watchtowers witness to the battles that were fought for this island. The walking is captivating through a wild and natural landscape, and you can catch a boat (MAY TO SEPT) at end of the day to MACCINAGGIO.
Capu di Muro, Coti Chiavari

La Revellata, Calvi
A lovely and relatively easy going walk onto the Revellata peninsula, through unspoilt maritime maquis, all the way to the lighthouse above the Oceanographic centres. This walk is fabulous in spring, when the flowering maquis is heady, and the trail quiet.
